Good morning, today I 'm sharing with you my art journal page. This is for the anything goes challenge over on Ally's Angels. I wanted to use a summer time theme. I stamped this lovely image from Crafty Individuals, Ocean Dreams that came free with Creative Stamping magazine #135 magazine onto some mixed media paper.
I used Versafine Ink, which is suitable for watercolours as it does not bleed. I then created a watercolour wash over the stamped image using distress inks in blues and greens. I dropped clean water into the drying wash to create some texture. I coloured the turtle with some brush pens that are water reactive and finished off with some white chalk pen and sparkle pens. I will incorporate this into my journal.
